Region 16 Championships July 20-23, 2005 Syracuse, New York
Double A Arabians traveled to Syracuse. New York for the Region 16 Championships. Equipped with a team of 5 horses, Double A received a total of 5 Championships, 3 Reserve Championships, and 16 Top Five awards.
Baby Announcement! The second foal of the season, a beautiful filly, was born on May 27, 2005. She is by Reserve National Champion Stallion, Gitar MF and out of a BH Santana daughter, Kharasmatic. She is owned by Double A Arabians.

Arabian Horse Club of Connecticut West Springfield, Massachusetts May 27-29, 2005
The outing to the AHCC show on the weekend on May 27th-29th, proved to be a successful one. With a total of 9 horses shown the Double A team once again was rewarded for their superb showing. A few highlights include:
Hudson Valley Arabian Horse Show West Springfield, Massachusetts May 13-15, 2005
On the weekend of May 13th, Double A Arabians traveled to the Big E in West Springfield, Massachusetts for their second horse show of the season. Besides a couple of raindrops, the weather cooperated throughout the weekend, which ultimately added to the positive and fun atmosphere of the show. The Double A team of 11 horses shown, along with their riders/handlers, proved to be great competitors, showing poise and sportsmanship in every class entered. Below is just a small sample of the Double A horse and rider combinations that were honored for their showmanship:
In addition to the above, Sarah Tasker-Jackson and Dr. Penny Peck effectively showed JP Baskamir in the hunter pleasure and equitation classes, while Lynne DeAdder successfully showed Stapphire, owned by Crystal Webster, in a very competitive Arabian Show Hack class. Also, Ariel Kool Aid was shown by his owner, Sandy Taylor, successfully in both hunter and western pleasure classes. This was also a show of debuts. It was GBA Kazimiere's first appearance in dressage ridden by Lynne DeAdder for Glen Brook Arabians. In addition, this was the first time Mi Canadius was shown by his owner Donna Conklin in Country Pleasure Driving. It was also the first time Jenn Roberts showed her 2-year-old Anglo- Arab, Langwoods Brigade, in the sport horse in hand class. Thanks for a great show & see you at Connecticut!
AHCC Spring Fling April 30- May 1, 2005 Northampton, Massachusetts
The first horse show of the season took place in Northampton, Massachusetts, the weekend of April 30th. Mother Nature was very reluctant to cooperate for most of the weekend, but that didn't dampen the spirits of the six horse and rider teams that were shown. Some brief highlights from the weekend (more will be posted once official show results are submitted online):
This marked the first show for Anne Collins and Mi Canadius. They debuted in the Arabian Show Hack and Country Pleasure classes and proved that they make a great pair. This was also the first show for BeyBerry Dreamer+ and Laura Fontaine competing in Arabian Show Hack and Arabian Native Costume. As usual, they make a beautiful team and it was difficult to tell who was having more fun! This also marked the first time Khandle in the Wind++//, owned by Jenn Roberts, competed in dressage. This talented horse showed incredible promise as an advanced dressage prospect. Every horse and rider did a great job and had fun while doing it. It was a wonderful start to a promising show season.
